"Cannot get in touch with the eye department."

About: Ipswich Hospital

After several attempts over three days am unable to get in touch with the eye department. All I get is a message instructing me to try another time! Not wishing to criticise the staff surely the system could be improved so that at least it should be possible to be able to obtain an answer to a simple query?

I am so very sorry that you have had such a difficult experience. We are having a new telephone system which should address this problem going forward in the future. Have you been able to make contact with the team?
