"A & E triage took 1 1/2 hours."

About: Whiston Hospital

The staff were all lovely, but I had been referred by my GP who had telephoned ahead. I notified the reception who said I still had to be triaged - I waited 1 1/2 hours to be triaged, then 40 minutes for blood tests. I wasn't seen by a doctor until 4 1/2 hours later, despite being 'fast tracked' by my GP. I was only seen then because I went back to triage be reminded them I was still waiting to be seen.
