"FANTASTIC STAFF!"

Unfortunately, I have had to attend the Emergency department twice recently, once with my mother after a fall and for myself after experiencing chest pains. On both occasions the department was extremely busy and we did have to wait several hours. The department is obviously stretched, but the service we received from the reception through to triage nurses and then the ED staff / doctors was fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble and we were given fabulous care. All procedures were explained carefully and with consideration. I cannot fault these wonderful, dedicated and professional staff. I hope they read these comments and feel proud and realise how much they are appreciated. They do a much valued job under difficult circumstances and they are very dedicated to the NHS - I hope they stay at Preston ED to carry on the good fight.
