I had an appointment at the Doncaster Royal Infirmary ENT outpatients department. I was seen an hour late and the doctor appeared to be trying to make up time. The examination was cursory, with little or no eye contact. He was abrupt and did not listen to me or my mother. He seemed to have made up his mind on what he was going to say and do before he even saw me.
