About: Aberdeen Maternity Hospital

(as the patient),

I am 27 weeks pregnant and have had to visit Aberdeen Maternity six times already due to bleeding and fact that I have a high heart beat. This includes two over night stays. Everytime I have been in I have been impressed with the care that I have recieved. All the midwives have been lovely to me and explained what was happening. It has made a worrying time less worrying for me and my partner

Dear petalnick

Many thanks for taking the time to post your feedback on Patient Opinion. Being a mum myself I can understand how worrying this time has been for you.

The staff at Aberdeen Maternity Hospital will be very happy to hear that they have helped ease your anxieties through their professionalism and explanations. Knowing what is happening and what will happen next are important aspects of our communication with patients and your story demonstrates how important good communication is to the overall experience of care.

My very best wishes for the rest of your pregnancy and thank you again for your kind words.
