"Awful hospital, dirty toilets and unhappy staff"

About: Warrington Hospital

I went to the hospital to visit my poorly gran dad, upon arriving you get the impression its a good clean hospital that offers a Costa and Subway plus a few shops..... you can clearly see where the money has been spent !, went to use the toilet and they where dirty and disgusting toilet paper all over the floor and stained toilets !, went to the ward to see my grandad and he was at the bottom of the bed, went to see his nurse who expressed if they could get some help they would lift him up the bed (not what you want to hear), finally got him in a position that he could breath properly when the drip stopped working 3 times i asked the nurse to sort it (1 hour the machine had been buzzing).Nurse came to give him his medication and expressed he had attacked them earlier in the day. Straight away i knew why - the nurse didn't even tell him what they were doing or show him any respect, and grabbed his arm and started giving him the medication (if somebody just grabbed you and started injecting you would you just sit there and allow them to do it, because i wouldn't!). Before leaving my grandad began to complain he was uncomfortable as again he had fell down the bed went to look for a nurse most had gone on lunch together and the ones that where left disappeared as soon as they saw i was looking for help. After 30 minutes i tracked somebody down and asked they lift him again but he had to wait because his nurse was unavailable........ i completely understand all the staff are over worked and under paid but that should not be reflected on the patient, especially one who is so weak he cant hold his own head up.
