"Excellent surergy and care"

About: Northumbria Specialist Emergency Care Hospital

I was admitted to Wansbeck hospital with a perforated bowel in May 2015, I received emergency treatment which involved the creation of a stoma, care in the high dependency unit and convalescence at Berwick infirmary. My treatment was at all times excellent, compassionate and efficient.

In 2016 I underwent surgery to reverse the stoma. Again the care I received was excellent.

Information given was clear and succinct, nursing care with effective and given with great consideration. I think I was extremely lucky to be treated in the trust's hospitals.

Dear C.J.Taylor,

What a lovely review, it gives me great pleasure to read and pass on stories such as yours.

It’s great to know that you got the care you needed and that it was of such high standard. Our hard working staff across the trust will be delighted to read your review and know that they got everything right.

I hope you have recovered well following your surgery - it sounds like you've been through such a lot ?

I hope you won’t have reason to use our services in the future, but should you need us, our staff will be on-hand.

All the very best,

Annie
