About: Bradford Royal Infirmary

Not very satisfied unfortunatly ..been on a waiting list since last year aftr seen around october 2015 For ear pain tintinitus .Was due a follow up this march 2016..got delayed to be seen by a consultant as nothing major was found even after having a privately organised scan end of 2015. many calls wer made to hav a follow up as ear pain had not resolved despite calling up with ongoing issues wth ear pain..things got bad in april pain in ears worse and may june suffered chronic sinusitus lik symptoms and a continuose nasal drip aswell as tonsilitus and hav been on 2 courses of antibiotic fr a mnth almost.

After numerouse calls explianing that how i had suffered sideffects from antibiotics and the fact that i am more prone to infection due to diabetes and in a visciouse cycle of event s of tonsilitus finally got seen to kindly in july 2016! Nothing got dealt wth accordingly though ..the ear pain, tonsilitus enlarged tonsils painful eating swallowing ..and despite chronic sinusitus like. symptoms although told sinuses were clear after a nose endoscopy .. stil cant breath eaily due to sinus blockage cant breath thru nose and really bad nasal drip !its been hell a years wait and no reall useful diagnosis was made ..instead the door to leave was opened for us !! Really need helpto sort stff out ..sadly in despair it clearly is effectting ones quality of life but unfortunatley it is sad that this is the serivice we get after the nhs contributions we make hoping theres somewhre to turn to for atleast a diagnosis when theres a seriouse need for treatment ..absolutly gutted !!

Hello, first of I must apologise for the delay in replying - there has been a problem with the site notifying us when someone posts a review, which we have just become aware of. I am sorry that you are unhappy with your care, and we will be making the matron for the area and the senior staff in the department aware of your comments.

It would be very helpful if you could contact us so we can investigate your experience properly and try to help you with these problems.

If you could call out patient experience manager he would be happy to talk to you. The number to contact is 01274364810.

If you call when the office is closed or no-one is available to take your call, please do leave your name and number and we will call you back as soon as possible. Thank you.
