"Planned op admission ward"

About: Sandwell General Hospital

I recently had a planned op at Sandwell hospital, everything was ok, the staff there were very nice to me, the porter and the healthcare assistant were both lovely (I hope they are valued) my only criticism would be, , when it came to getting undressed I think the staff could have checked on the older lady opposite me as she struggled so much I went to ask if she needed any help, I assisted her with my good arm,, they were aware of this and just carried on talking about holidays, a little bit naughty, (I wouldn't have commented on that if they had been busy).

overall not a bad experience at all for me.

Hi Angie, thank you for letting us know about your experience at Sandwell Hospital. I am glad to hear that the staff were kind to you but I am disappointed in the criticism you have highlighted. Thank you for helping the lady opposite and I am sorry that our staff were not more attentive to her needs. I wish you well, Tony Waite, Director of Finance and Performance.
