"From Wimbledon Qualifying to Minor Injuries!"

About: Queen Mary's Hospital (Sidcup)

A day at the Wimbledon qualies turned fairly nasty after I discovered a huge swelling down below - London Ambulance Service organised a taxi to take me to the urgent care part - taxi driver had no idea where to go, turned up late for us neither did we (we live about 2 hours train journey away), we went to minor injuries (first place we saw, to us it made sense that the two might be connected) - also shortest walk given I was struggling to walk. Receptionist (might have been a healthcare assistant or someone more linked to the doctor) was rude, uncooperative and was essentially making me feel like they were essentially giving me special privileges so I could be seen and treated. Told them I was extremely anxious, I am, but also to calm the situation. Doctor I saw was VERY nice but because of the intimate nature of the issue, they had to come in to supervise as no one else was available. They proceeded to accuse me of shouting at them, then again after I came out as I was leaving - completely unreasonable, with no sense of compassion in the slightest.

Upon my arrival they also essentially forced me to reveal what the issue was at the desk, I gave an indication of what it was but kept pressing me to reveal more details, something that in front of a full waiting room I was unwilling to do!

I also don't believe any level of compassion/empathy was given to the fact it was quite a traumatic issue, I'm only just 18 and I was with no female members of family 2hours+ from home!

I was seen in minor injuries but that doesn't seem to be an option below, so I've put urgent care.
