"Excellent"

About: Royal Stoke University Hospital

I had a mild heart attack, and went to A&E on a Saturday night. To read press reports this should of been horrific. But nothing was further from the truth. I was seen quickly and efficiently, and admitted and treated. I was in for three weeks all together, and can't fault it. That said, I would still rather of been well, and not gone at all! However, if you have to be ill, then this place is brilliant, and the staff even better. I was in over Christmas and New Year, and the staff did their best, and even bought us all Christmas presents! I can not fault the place. From cleaners and porters to nurses and consultants, everyone was wonderful. One particular day I was very ill, without getting too graphic, there was a lot of cleaning up necessary! Everyone did it efficiently and kindly, when it really can't of been pleasant.
