"Terrible experience of this dental hospital"

About: Royal Liverpool University Dental Hospital

I would not recommend this place to anyone! After being referred to the hospital by my dentist in December 2015 as they suspected root resoption in 2 of my front teeth I got an appointment in February.

At this appointment I was seen by a student who sent me for x rays and confirmed that what dentist had seen was true. I was told to wait and was called into a room with a consultant and about 6 students standing watching that there was resoption and I would at some point lose the two teeth and they would do a root canal treatment on them to slow the process down.

I didn't get an appointment again until June to go to the same place and be met by a rude consultant to be told they where not doing any treatment. I proceeded to try and ask questions as to why not and what I could do to try and save them. To be be given no real explanation and told "it was time to go home now".

The whole experience has left me feeling let down and as though I've wasted my time with the hospital. I also think consultants need to think before you are invited into a room to be told about any problems not to have so many students in the room with them. As it is embarrassing and intimidating to the person receiving treatment.

I will now be looking to go down the private root as I would rather find the money and be treated with dignity and respect. And in a timely manner.
