my son stayed here for 8 days after his brain surgery and I must say what an absolute top class place the great north children's hospital is.
We stayed on ward 1b and what amazing staff especially the nurse who waited hand and foot on us! Nothing was never any trouble, what a credit they were, all the nurses were lovely and do an amazing job working 24hrs to help every single child.
We didn't want to leave in the end haha!
Great place, credit to the north east and my son is well on his way to a speedy recovery
