(as the patient),

I had my baby girl 9 weeks ago in the midwife unit and had a lovely experience.

I was fortunate enough to have the same midwife help me through my entire labour from start to finish and she done an amazing job of reassuring me (and hubby) telling me what to do to help, which it did massively.

I had an easy labour thanks to her guidance and instructions.

I was lucky to be in one of the lovely midwife rooms which had everything we needed and was quite, calm and relaxed. Thanks

Many thanks for taking time out to post your feedback on Patient Opinion. It is a real boost for staff to hear what a great job they are doing and what a difference they make to mums (and dads!).

We always try to take account of what matters most to people and I can see from your story that reassurance, information, guidance and a calm atmosphere were important to you. It is great to hear that our staff delivered all these things as well as your baby!
