"Minor Injuries Unit"

About: Victoria Infirmary (Northwich)

My 81 year old mother was visiting me from the Stockport area when she had a fall at the Blakemere craft centre.

She had cut her forehead quite badly and I took her to the Minor Injuries Unit.

Although she subsequently had to go to A & E at Stepping Hill as a precaution (she is on Warfarin) the care and attention at Northwich Infirmary from reception to nursing staff was second to none.

My mother even commented that it was the best care she'd received in a long time.

I just wanted to pass on my thanks.

Please tell the staff who were on duty at the time that they put mine and my mother's mind at rest almost as soon as we arrived.
