Congratulations on the birth of your baby girl and thank you for taking the time to tell us about your positive maternity experience. It was great to read your account of the experience you had throughout the pregnancy and to hear that staff treated you well at all times. It is very important for staff to recognise the importance of a compassionate approach when individuals do present as anxious. Clearly the way in which the staff responded to you was helpful and clearly helped you when you needed it most. The experience you describe is what we want people to experience every time. Sharing examples like this with staff helps to re inforce good practice and so a big thank you for taking time out of your busy day to tell us about your care.
