I was diagnosed December 2013 having 2 operations and radiotherapy from January to April 2014.
Since then I have regular check ups mammograms (Yearly) at the Breast Care Unit.
I have nothing but praise for them.
The whole team have been fantastic and I have had a good relationship with the staff throughout the years.
I know I can call anytime and speak with the breast care nurses if I am worried.
Equally I have received a fantastic service from the Oncology department everything was explained and any problems I had were dealt with.
I no longer have to see the oncologist consultant unless I experience any problems with the medication however I was repeatedly assured
I can contact him anytime. In a scary situation, I received and still do, the best care from all the Breast CancerTteam.
