"Can't thank them enough"

About: Scottish Ambulance Service / Emergency Ambulance University Hospital Hairmyres / Emergency Department University Hospital Hairmyres / General Surgery (Ward 5)

(as the patient),

Honestly can't thank enough, I was taken by ambulance, the paramedics were great, I was terrified, they made me feel relaxed, A&E staff were great, ward 4 nurse Kay was a godsend, very caring and compassionate. ICU staff were amazing truly dedicated and went above and beyond their duties. Ward 6 staff were fantastic, there are too many outstanding people work here to mention individually, the staff really helped my recovery, nothing was a bother to them, they kept my spirits high with their cheery banter, treated you as a person not just a patient.

Dear Belly man,

Thank you for sharing your feedback. I was delighted to hear that the Ambulance crew who came to your assistance provided the immediate care you needed that helped keep you calm and relaxed before transporting you to hospital. I would like to echo the words of my colleagues from Hairmyres Hospital by saying we endeavour to provide person-centred care for each individual and I am so pleased to hear that you experienced this.

I hope that you are now recovering well.

Take care,

The reason I did the review was to thank the staff, spoke to a few of the staff and they haven't heard about this, I personally think it's great for reviews to be passed on to the wards etc, these people do a great job, go above and beyond, a pat on the back makes it all worth while, can you please thank all the staff for their great work, dream team hairmyres hospital, ward 6 staff are the most caring, Robert a nurse in ward 6, what a laugh, you make people feel so happy,
