"they forgot to book my appointment"

i had a procedure then was made a follow up appointment, i arrived for my appointment and was told i didn't have an appointment. i was then told if i wanted to speak to the nurse to sort things i could. so i eventually found the nurse (wasn't told where to go) i was left waiting for 35 minutes to then be told i could wait until last appointment of the day (2 hours away) but the consultant was already 40 minutes behind so another 2 hours 40 minutes away. so from arriving at the hospital to seeing the doctor would of been a minimum of three and a half hours. on complaining i was giving some very weak excuses and after an hour of being in the hospital left with out seeing the doctor. i don't feel that any one really cared about this are they aware that this is a paid for service? Shocking treatment poor

I am sorry that the organisation of the clinic left a lot to be desired and that the team did not keep you informed about what was going on. I have not been able to track your appointments from the information given but hope that you were offered another appointment that has gone to plan.
