I had to write to say how impressed I was with the care and attention given to me during my treatment at The Alex. All the staff, including the pre-op team, anaesthetists and surgeons were friendly, helpful and put me at ease.
An especially big thank you to the team on Chester ward, nothing was too much trouble and they always had a smile!
After reading other reviews I was nervous about the food, but I can only say it was amazing! Far beyond anything I've ever received in any other hospital. Fresh and well cooked, no stodgy, lumpy mashed potatoes!
For all the pain I've suffered with, they managed to make it a pleasant experience.
I can only hope that if I need any further treatment I will be referred back here!
I was an NHS patient, and from initial GP referral to surgery date was approx 7 weeks.
