I have just got home from a stay in Victoria Ward to help control my brittle asthma. All staff were fantastic and I really felt that they supported me as an individual. After tests I was informed of a clear and effective plan. There was always someone available to answer questions and I never felt that I was putting anyone out of the way. I am regularly in and out of hospital and it was so lovely to have other aspects of 'me' acknowledged, not just the asthma. My love of netball was even recognised in the discharge summary :-)

Always good to feel human - Thank you! The thank you list is long, nurses, doctors, catering, cleaning, physios, gym staff, phlebotomy and CNS, I can't thank you all enough!

As a specialist respiratory Trust, we recognise that life can be difficult for patients with chronic illnesses who spend a lot of time in hospital and our teams try to do what they can to make the inpatient experience as stress-free as possible.
