"Disgusting treatment"

This service is a shambles. Almost 2 years wait for a surgery and said surgery has been cancelled with a week to go due to clerical error. No-one answers the phone, PALS have been contact yet just awaiting a response from them, no-one wants to give alternative dates or reschedule. Absolutely despicable.

All the while the patient is in debilitating pain and unable to cope with daily tasks.

Thank you for taking the time to highlight the areas of concern that you have experienced - it is difficult to respond in full to your concerns without more detail but please be assured that the issues you have detailed have been taken seriously.

I've also shared your comments with the senior nursing team for this service, however, to allow us to investigate this further, can I ask that you please get back in contact our Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS), on 0161 206 2003 or email them directly on pals@srft.nhs.uk with further details and let them know that you are still waiting for a response from them.
