I had a total hip replacement three days ago and have been home for a day. The whole experience of Wansbeck hospital has been excellent. All the staff were very attentive and caring, and treated me as an individual rather than as a set of symptoms. Nothing was too much trouble.

Some of the medication I was given on discharge did not agree with me, so I phoned the ward and got an immediate response, advice and reassurance.

Throughout my stay everything was clearly explained to me, so I knew exactly what was happening and why;I was treated with dignity at all times and was listened to.

Thanks to everyone for looking after me so well. Ward 7 , and the theatre staff are all stars!! Thank you do much.

I'm sorry to read that some of your medication didn't agree with you, I'm pleased our team were able to be of great help and support to you in order to get you right. It's reassuring to know that the aftercare you received has been so helpful, please know our team will be on hand should you need them in the future.
