Visited the Minor Injuries Unit with a possible broken toe. I was seen by the first nurse within about 30-45 minutes. Then referred to the X-ray unit, which was very quick, then sent back to the minor injuries unit to see the senior nurse.
I had to wait about 2 hours to see the senior nurse, who explained the treatment and options very clearly and got me on my way.
Overall, very pleased with the service provided. Anything that can be done to reduce the time between x-ray and second assessment would really improve the unit.
Would recommend getting there as early as you can.
"Great service - let down by wait times"
