"Antenatal, Labour and Postnatal wards"

About: Princess Alexandra Hospital (Harlow)

I gave birth to my little boy at PAH in the Labour ward, I was admitted for induction to the Antenatal Ward and spent a couple of days in the Postnatal Ward... In all three wards I've received excellent care during the whole 4 days I was in there.

From the moment I was admitted to the moment I left, I was looked after by an amazing team of midwives and student midwives. The anesthesiologists and the doctor that performed the assisted delivery to help my baby being born were super professional, and I felt supported both physically and mentally during the whole process.

I can't thank the whole staff enough for the great care!

Dear Silvia,

Thank you for your lovely comments about the care across all three wards, it allows us to understand if we are delivering consistent high quality throughout our services and your comments are a positive.

It is particularly appreciated that you comment on the physical and mental side of your experience, we often look carefully at physical care and do not often enough evaluate the mental health and well being questions.

And not forgetting, congratulations on the birth of your little boy.
