I would like to say how friendly and helpful the staff were at a&e and X-ray today. I felt that hurting my thumb was somewhat of a waste of time compared to other people in the a&e waiting room but i was re-assured that I was not wasting anyone's time and was made to feel I was important to them and was not just another patient on a conveyor belt. I was then sent to X-ray who once again were genuinely supportive and friendly.
After X-ray I was recalled and told that I had done a lot more damage than I had thought, which just goes to prove how easy it is to think i know better. Yes I waited a long time, as did others but we can't all be seen at the same time. There was a constant flow of people being seen so I could not see how this could have been any quicker and felt the wait was justified.
Well done and thankyou
