I had an operation for a blocked tear duct which was carried out by my consultant

Before the operation the consultant and their anaesthetist explained what would happen during the procedure and in the following hours I was treated with the utmost respect by a professional team of staff in the eye care centre. The operation was 100% successful and the aftercare treatment I received was second to none.

I did not expect that I would meet with the consultant after the operation but I was wrong and they met with me to review the post operative results.

I can only thank the consultant for their expertise in correcting my problem. I am so grateful for the NHS and the first class service I received from the eye care centre at Leighton.

Ophthalmology is an extremely busy department and it is wonderful to hear that you had such a good patient experience.
