"A&E Saturday night visit"

About: The Maidstone Hospital

My 14 year old son hurt his ankle. As it was extremely swollen and he couldnt feel his toes we made the "dreaded" visit to a&e on a Saturday night. As soon as we walked in a paramedic brought my son a wheelchair, the receptionist smiled and said "Hello again!" (The receptionist could see from records he'd done this before!) within 45 minutes we had seen triage, a doctor, had been x rayed and back to the dr. What a superb service. Fortunately it was a bad sprain and not broken. I understand a GP works in A&E as well which helps with the flow of patients. Lovely, kind & professional staff.

Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback on your experience of attending the Emergency Department.

We're sorry it's taken us so long to reply, but unfortunately, we didn't receive notification that your feedback had been posted.

We're glad you received such superb service and that your son's foot turned out not to be broken.

Kind regards, The PALS Team.
