"disabled parking at York Hospital"

About: York Hospital

(as the patient),

I often take my wife to the hospital and because I need space to lower a lift then the spaces for the disabled are impossible to park in. most of the time the person who has the appointment isn't the disabled person, they are left sat in the car with the badge on display, while some lazy able bodied moron parks as close as they can without having to pay. I have even seen able bodied people display a blue badge then run into the hospital because it is raining.

Parking in a disabled bay and leaving the disabled person in the car while the able bodied person goes in for the appointment should be stopped, as they don't need the space as they are there for people who have the badge and may require more space to exit a vehicle.
