"end of life care"

About: Lister Hospital

My 96 year old aunt died in Pirton ward after 3 days of end of life care. The care and respect shown to her was faultless. The whole family was treated with kindness and courtesy. Wonderful caring staff that any hospital should be proud of!

Thank you for taking the troube at what must still be a difficult time in your life, to reach out and thank the Pirton ward team at the Lister for the support and care they provided to your aunt during her last few days.

In many ways, these is perhaps the most important time when care and treatment needs to keep people's right to privacy and dignity to the fore at all times.

In your aunt's case, it seems they got that just right allowing your aunt (and the rest of her family) to have a positive experience at a time when it is needed most.

We'll pass your feedback on to the team now - we know that they will be so pleased to read your feedback.

Thank you and please accept our condolences too.
