(as the patient),

I attended my dermatology appointment at the clinic in Orpington (by the tesco). It all went as well possible. I saw a Dr and they were a good help.

I received a letter on the same day about my last visit, where I had a lesion removed, to tell me the biopsy results would be in 8 weeks and that if I hadn’t heard anything by then I am to contact them. I wouldn’t have thought it would take so long to so a biopsy.

Thank you for your posting.

I am glad your appointment and biopsy went well. Unfortunately getting results from a biopsy always takes a long time. I believe this is due to the processing of the sample and not due to any processes within our Organisation.

I hope that the results are Ok when they do finally come back!
