About: Good Hope Hospital / Cardiology

(as a relative),

Arrived to queue at reception for Mum's pacemaker check up and was approached by lovely gentlemen who explained he was here to help bring queues down and knew layout of building, he apologised that he sometimes slurred his speech and proceeded to escourt us to cardiology and explain changes and investment in hospital and then shook our hands and wished us a happy weekend. Fabulous customer service he clearly loves his job and is so proud it shows volumes. Big thank you and well done x

Thank you very much for your comments regarding your visit to Good Hope Hospital for your mother's pacemaker check.

I believe that you may be referring to one of our 'Meet and Greet' Volunteers who work hard in our Treatment Centre reception, greeting patients and escorting them to their required department. A large hospital can be quite intimidating to navigate around and our Meet and Greet Volunteers provide an excellent service to our patients.

I will ensure that your feedback is communicated to our Volunteer Advisor at Good Hope Hospital who will ensure that your kind comments are shared with all of the Meet and Greet Team.

I hope this is acceptable and once again thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback it is extremely important to us.
