"Several admissions since hospital opened"

About: Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow / Bones, joint and fractures Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow / General surgery (Wards 9a, 9b, 9c & 9d)

(as the patient),

This admission started Feb 2016 I was admitted with chest pain got lots of tests and was treated well, because I have heart condition it was fooling doctors into looking for heart problems as it turned out I had lung problems, I had C O P D but was not really troubled by it.

I broke my back in Australia in Dec doctor in oz did not pick up I had broken back so although I broke my back it was not until I got home 2 days later and went to queen Elizabeth university hospital that it was picked up right away I was admitted and received wonderful treatment till discharge 2 weeks later.

Back to this admission was treated wonderfully as I have come to expect although I do feel there is a shortage of staff especially nursing the ones that are there go over and above their duty none more so than in ward 4 B from Nickie Dianne Morag other names will come back to me like Hilda but all the staff who give out the drugs in particular are just wonderful and work great as a team they truly are a remarkable bunch who give you confidence as much time as they can under difficult circumstances.

Now I was also in June 2015 in an other ward when the hospital was just opened and although staff were working under a lot of pressure they still were very good. So having experienced three admissions one when hospital was just opened and one a year after opening I believe I am in a good position to tell of how hospital has settled into itself and staff along with it if there was an award for team work I would recommend ward 4 B there is so much more I would like to praise the hospital staff for its as if they have got to disprove the negative criticism the hospital got at first when it opened.
