"Cataract surgery"

About: Nuffield Health, Shrewsbury Hospital

My initial consultation late last year was in the very comfortable surroundings of the outpatients' department at the Nuffield.

(Excellent coffee, by the way.)

For the follow-up operations in the main hospital I was dealt with by friendly and informative staff, and enjoyed the novel experience of walking into an operating theatre and seeing all the hi-tech equipment in there.

Throughout the process all staff involved kept me fully informed about what was going on, and afterwards (after more excellent coffee in the recovery room!) gave me detailed information about how to look after the eye once I got home.

All in all, a superb level of service.
