My daughter attended the EPAU after spotting and cramps.

I hope that the nurse who attended to her was having an 'off day' at the time as they were very rude and unprofessional throughout the appointment.

My daughter had taken along her husband and toddler and this person was irritated by this and made it clear in their manner and tone that they weren't happy about it.

In this environment, I would have thought that staff would be calm, kind and sympathetic, not annoyed, angry and irritated in their manner and, of course, my daughter would want her partner there - she could have been miscarrying.

The fact that they took their son with them, who was well behaved throughout the appointment should not have made them react in the way they did .

This made a very tense patient upset and embarrassed by the 'professional's' bed side manner.

Needless to say, my daughter has decided to deliver in an alternative hospital.
