I was very promptly attended to on Sunday. The nurse practitioner took a detailed history in a caring sympathetic manner. The made a tentative diagnosis involving me throughout in their own thought processes and proceeded to treat me in an expert manner. My wound was dressed,I was given verbal after-care advise and prescribed a seven day course of anti-biotic capsules.I felt throughout in very capable hands and the nurse practitioner was extremely professional at all stages.
I would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending the minor injuries unit to anyone who is unable to access GP services for whatever reason.
