"A difficult time made easier"

My partner had a mid-term miscarriage at 16 weeks.

The brilliant staff in the Delivery Suite at Royal Berks were understanding, patient, accommodating, professional and compassionate at every stage.

Everyone we encountered during our stay made us feel comfortable under some of the most harrowing circumstances.

We cannot sing their praises enough, especially three members of staff who were our midwives during our stay.

They went above and beyond in their care, and it would have been a far worse time if not for them.

I have never had a better level of service, professionalism and well informed articulation of situation with the NHS than on the Delivery Suite of Royal Berkshire Hospitals Maternity Ward.

Their efforts should be appreciated, praised, and rewarded.

We are sorry that you needed our services under such difficult circumstances. The loss of a baby is a time of sadness and heartache. All our midwives endeavour to provide compassionate and supportive care to ease a difficult time so we are very pleased that despite the circumstances you felt that those caring for you both demonstrated the kindness and compassion needed.
