"Dangerously poor"

About: Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust

I took an overdose and although the JR staff were lovely, I was merely sent a letter to see a consultant at OH in two months time!

Callous, risibly condescending treatment. Traumatised and scared of the staff and hospital area after being an outpatient for 15 years. Painfully inefficient discharge processes and exhausting need to chase staff members for weeks and months....I made two serious complaints about staff behaviour and all allegations were denied!

I have been discharged now and used Oxford University Hospital services for hormone and cancer treatment and they are miles better, thankfully. At last I can trust doctors and nurses again.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a response with regards to your experience and I am sorry to read of the discharge process you experienced and the fact you had to chase staff.

I would like to find some more information out about your experience and would be grateful if you could please contact PALS on 0800 328 7971 or PALS@oxfordhealth.nhs.uk.
