"ortheopaedic department"

About: North Middlesex Hospital

probably the most disorganised and chaotic department I have ever visited. Seen by "old school consultant " who was downright rude and patronising. The waiting room itself was utter chaos with patients wandering into consulting rooms (during consultations) and before being called. Patients talking loudly on telephones and one even listening to very loud offensive rap for all to hear. There was only one positive in this department and that was the sister in charge. They were most helpful but limited in their scope. Appalling experience on my three visits. Will never go back there and will certainly advise all those I know not to go there. I do not know what the rest of the hospital is like.

Thank you for your feedback. I am the managing director for orthopaedic services, elizabethball1@nhs.net and will be sharing your comments with the team.

All our staff are trained on how to communicate with patients and I am sorry that you experienced a consultant who you felt was below the standard you expected.

Please do forward to me any further comments you wish to make.
