I can't claim to know every member of staff at this hospital or even know how they themselves are treated or even the infinite details about the organisation of their busy schedule, etc. but in my experience at the Endoscopy ward last week, I would sincerely like to thank everyone involved in my care on the day of my (painful) tests. The staff were simply wonderful. Human beings to human beings experience, unlike to Leeds St James' hospital (careless and robotic-like, which I hope never to set foot in again). St James's Directors and staff could learn a thing or two from their colleagues at the Wharfedale hospital.

Your post is wonderful to read and I am extremely pleased that you had such a positive experience whilst in our care at Wharfedale General Hospital.

I was however concerned to read of your experience at St James Hospital, the experience you have described is not the level of service that we wish to offer.

It would be very beneficial for our services and for future patients if you could discuss the matters you have raised further with our Trust’s Patient Advise and Liaison Service (PALS). This would also allow us to look into the matters you have raised more thoroughly and also to see if there are any lessons that we could learn from your experience.
