My child has an upper molar tooth infection. The abcess caused their face to swell and they have been on pain relief for weeks now. They have just finished antibiotics which helped take the swelling down and was due to get the tooth removed today. They was nil by mouth this morning and all prepared only to receive a phone call three hours before going in to say it had been cancelled. The date they rescheduled is in two weeks. I am concerned about my child's infection worsening again and the fact they have been on pain relief for so long. Is there anything they can do to get this tooth out sooner?
