This story has been posted by Healthwatch Tameside on behalf of a member of the public who wanted to remain anonymous. We do not have their contact details. They said..

A chef cut the tendon in her thumb last week. She went to A & E at Tameside Hospital and was seen in 10 minutes. The operation to fix the tendon was 2 days later. She was in hospital for 3 days and given intravenous antibiotics. She can't fault the treatment.
