I was feeling unwell on Sunday and called 111 for help. Three paramedics came to see to me, they were excellent. Sarah, Elena and Craig were so kind and caring, two of them looked after me and having decided that they needed to take me to hospital one of the paramedics made my mother a sandwich and a drink. They made sure my 83-year-old mother would be alright on her own whilst I was in hospital, they did not think I would be kept in but thought that it was best that the hospital saw me. It put my mind at rest that my mother had also been looked after, it was so kind of them to do that. I cannot thank them enough for their kindness.
I was taken to the BRI to A&E and was there for about 6 hours. All the staff were fantastic, I was seen within minutes of arriving at the hospital, and taken to the resuscitation area as the rest of the A&E department were extremely busy. The doctors and nurses, even though they were so busy, took excellent care of me, I could not fault them.
"Ambulance staff were great and looked after my mother while I was treated."
