"Fracture Clinic"

About: Herts & Essex Community Hospital

The treatment my wife Pam received from the staff of the fracture clinic today (3rd June) was first class, but sadly let down by the waiting arrangements.About 30 patients and friends were crammed into a small area with only about 15 seats ,with the reminder having to stand in the halls, some for up to two hours .At the same time most of the seats (100?)in the fracture clinic and X-ray reception area was empty.,it surely wouldn't take much reorganisation to use this area and for a member of the staff to call out the patients name and escort that person to the consulting room or the more up to date method a scrolling screen

It is such a lovely hospital being let down by a bit forethought

Terry
