"Well cared for"

I was taken to A&E by brilliant ambulance crew who stayed with me until I was handed over to nursing staff.

Staff were friendly and caring, they did everything they needed to do with quiet professionalism, doctor was gentle and interested, nurses kept popping in and kept me informed as I waited for a bed on the ward. Despite multiple admissions during my wait, I was not left alone for long.

The Porter who wheeled me for various tests and then to the ward was friendly and chattty and took my mind off my worries.

Staff on the ward were equally professional and put me at ease. Ward was clean and quiet. Thankfully discharged after seeing doctors next day.

Everyone is quick to criticise but when the chips are down, this hospital delivers good service. Thanks to all the staff who make things happen for patients, both on the shop floor and behind the scenes.
