What I liked

The care I received was exceptional. The midwives were helpful,respectful and careful and I did not feel afraid to ask for anything. My baby's birth was uneventful and straight-forward, this was mainly due to the attention and care given by all maternity staff.

What could be improved

Very little from my side. It was a busy department, but the midwives coped well. From their perspective, they didn't take any breaks and I felt they were definitely over worked. However, this did not reflect in any way and my care was not compromised.

Anything else?

Would strongly recommend this hospital and its maternity department. I had heard excellent reports before I went there from a number of other women and can happily say it lived up to its good reputation.

Thank you for your comments and we are very pleased that you and your baby's short time with us was a good experience. As with many hospitals, we try to find only the best midwives and there are from time to time shortages. However, we are now actively recruiting more midwives to ensure that staff get the necessary time to have a good break.
