I don't normally write reviews but felt I had to on this occasion . I visited A&E on Monday morning 30th May with a problem with my vision, I was referred straight away to the emergency eye department who saw me within 40 minutes they discovered I had a tear in my retina and scheduled emergency surgery the next morning contacting the consultant whist at home.
I arrived at 7.20 the next morning and was in surgery by 7.45 . The staff in the Mary Jones Ward were amazing made me feel at ease straight away.
I can not thank everyone enough to for the care and support they have given me .
The eye department is a credit to the hospital.
