I would like to compliment Worthing Hospital Staff on its TIA clinic which we so desperately needed today after my husband had a TIA yesterday afternoon. We were efficiently and kindly treated by the ambulance and emergency staff immediately after the TIA in your Casualty. Eventually we were allowed to return home after extensive examination, some medication and excellent advice

At 08 30 today, we were telephoned to attend the TIA clinic for extensive tests, which were carried out with impeccable efficiency, professionalism and in a very caring manner. All the equipment was available and operated by proficient staff. We returned home this evening feeling reassured, informed and grateful. When we needed urgent medical help we received it immediately.

I will recommend your unit to other TIA patients and their families and suggest that other hospitals should model their units upon yours.

Thank you for taking the time to post onto this site Fiona and we are sorry that your husband was taken ill.

In the circumstances you descibe, it must have been a worrying time for your both.

We have worked hard on this service and it is really good to read that it worked very well and that you were able to be reassured at the end.

We will have great pleasure in passing your feedback to the staff in the TIA clinic and they will be delighted.

We hope your husband is making a satisfactory recovery and thank you once again for your comments, these are very much appreciated by all of us.
