(as the patient),

I had planned a homebirth with my first baby but due to being overdue I was induced in Dec 2015. although I ended up with a very slow induction and labour, malposition, forceps, pph, baby had jaundice etc- my experience was wonderful. particular thanks to Rachel and Lori in westburn, kylie, Louise, Laura, dr danielian and team in theatre and all the staff in summerfield ward. in addition special thanks to chris for her help with breastfeeding and tongue tie (sorry for crying every time you spoke to me! ). also to dr grierson (paeds) for your very understanding and positive care during my baby's jaundice.

the wards were clean, food great and all care was second to none. although I didn't have the home hypnobirth I had planned, I have only positive memories of my amh experience

Many, many thanks for taking the time to post your feedback on Patient Opinion. Your kind words will mean a great deal to all the staff you mention and the team in general. It is fabulous to hear that despite the birth not being what you had hoped for and not being as straight forward as some, the team, including you, pulled together to “deliver” a positive outcome.
