"Very grateful for the attention I received"

About: Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust - City Campus / General surgery

(as the patient),

I had an operation to repair a hiatus hernia. The doctors and nurses were brilliant and deserve the praise most people don’t give to them. I’m very grateful for the attention I received. They did more for me than expected.

Thank you – this is great news. I’m pleased to hear your operation went well. I’ve shared your feedback with relevant staff.

In light of your experience, you may wish to consider nominating a member of staff who was involved in your care for our annual staff awards. Should you wish to, you can nominate via our website: http://www.nuh.nhs.uk/nuhonours/. Your nomination would fall under the Surgery divisional award.

Thanks again for the feedback. I hope your recovering well.

Best wishes,

Jo Manogue

Matron, Gastroenterology.
